Al Mackay wrote and directed three short films; Bale, The Good Men of Leicester and Hit and Run, before being signed to United Agents.  Al’s work  includes an online episode of MISFITS for Channel 4, which was nominated for a BAFTA Craft award.  An Original Drama Short for the BBC Iplayer called My Jihad, and two episodes of the new Russell T Davies show Banana, made by RED Productions for Channel 4.  Al is currently writing his debut feature film, A Place to Bury Strangers, which is in development with The Bureau (Weekend, 45 Years) and Crybaby.
